The HI 98312 is a waterproof EC / TDS and temperature meter. The casing has been designed to float and is totally watertight to prevent moisture from entering. All EC / TDS readings have automatic temperature compensation (ATC), and temperature values can be shown on the display in ° C units.The DIST6 waterproof CE / TDS / Temp (high range) tester can be automatically calibrated at one point. Measurements are highly accurate with a single stability indicator on the display. A low battery symbol alerts the user when batteries need to be replaced. In addition, the Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) prevents erroneous readings caused by low voltage by disconnecting the meter.The HI 73311 CE / TDS probe, supplied with the meter, is interchangeable and can be easily replaced by the user. The encapsulated stainless steel temperature sensor facilitates faster and more accurate temperature measurement and compensation. To achieve maximum precision, it is recommended to frequently calibrate the instrument. In addition, the instrument must be recalibrated each time: a) The EC / TDS probe is replaced. b) After analyzing aggressive chemicals. c) Whenever maximum precision is required. d) At least once a month This new pocket meter for conductivity and total dissolved solids includes a series of improvements with respect to the previous equipment of this family, such as; replaceable graphite probe, battery level indicator, stability indicator, adjustable TDS factor, adjustable temperature coefficient factor, automatic shutdown and calibration, waterproof housing and 100% buoyancy. The DIST 6 features an extended measurement range up to 20.00 mS / cm.
