INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Failure to follow any of the instructions and limitations can seriously reduce the effectiveness of this mask and can lead to illness, injury, or death.
2. A properly selected mask is essential. Before use at work, the user must be trained by the employer in the correct use of the mask in accordance with the applicable health and safety regulations.
3. This product does not supply oxygen. Use only in adequately ventilated areas that contain enough oxygen to sustain life.
4. Discard the mask and replace with a new one if:
a. Excessive mask obstruction causes shortness of breath
b. the mask is damaged.
5. Leave contaminated area if dizziness, irritation, or other discomfort occurs.
6. Keep the masks in the box out of direct sunlight until use.
7. The user must undergo a fit test prior to using this mask, either qualitatively or quantitatively, in accordance with 29CFR 1910.134.
8. Before using the mask, users should check for cracks or stains around the solder point. If so, The mask must be disposed of immediately and cannot be reused.
9. Keep unused masks in their closed box and store them in a dry, uncontaminated area between + 5ºC and + 38ºC. Shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture.

LIMITATIONS OF USE
1. DO NOT use the mask, or enter or stay in a contaminated area, under the following circumstances:
a. The atmosphere contains less than 19.5% oxygen.
b. If it smells or tastes like a contaminant.
c. For protection against gases or vapors
d. Contaminants or their concentrations are unknown or dangerous to life or health.
e. Contaminant concentrations exceed maximum use concentrations in applicable OSHA standards or applicable government regulations or 12 times the PEL (Permissible Exposure Limit), whichever is lower.
f. For sandblasting, spray paint and asbestos operations.
g. Use in explosive atmospheres.
2. DO NOT modify or misuse the mask.
3. DO NOT use the mask with facial hair or any other condition that may prevent a good facial seal.

ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Put your fingers inside the mask. Fold the nose clip around the fingers to shape the nose.
2. Keep the respirator in position over the nose and mouth with the headbands around the back of the hand. Pull the lower strap over the head and adjust it around the back of the neck.
3. Pull the top strap over your head, placing it just above your ears.
4. Using both hands, place the nose clip around the nose and move the headbands to ensure a positive face seal.
5. Checking the seal:
a. To test the fit of a mask without an exhalation valve, place both hands on the respirator and exhale sharply.
b. To test the fit of a mask with an exhalation valve, place both hands on the mask and inhale sharply. Negative pressure should be detected within the mask.
c. If you feel air flow in the nose area, readjust / tighten the nose clip. < br /> d. If you feel air flow around the edges of the mask, reposition the mask / headband for a better fit.
e. Replace the mask immediately if breathing becomes difficult or the mask becomes damaged or distorted.
f. Replace the mask if a proper face seal cannot be achieved.
